Creativity within our real estate department is evident from the way in which we strive to serve the interests of both parties, proposing and negotiating alternative solutions where appropriate. But it is also evident from the way in which we handle VAT and transfer tax matters. We always act in the best interests of all concerned and take full account of the parties’ wishes regarding the property in question. Where a building is to be divided into separately owned units (commonhold units or condominiums), for example, we take all future usage and management options into account. We ensure that the plans and deeds for construction projects allow for the proper management and maintenance of communal amenities such as rear access paths.
